Testimonials
Following the collapse of our previous IT Support provider we found The Computer Clinic Bicester. At a time where our IT had ground to a standstill, the computer clinic Bicester stepped in and worked tirelessly until a resolution was established. From that point we instructed Daniel as our preferred provider of IT support and services and have found his dedication, second to no-one.

Life Changing Technology
Through my years as an IT Technician I have seen many people lose time and money from not having a Technician on speed dial. On this page I will explain to you the 6 best ways to make sure your system stays protected and running.
1.Anti-virus anti-virus anti-virus.

There is no substitute for a good anti virus and keeping it up to date. With new viruses being made every day keeping your anti-virus up to date is one of the most important things. Have a look at.
Microsoft security essentials, AVG,

To keep your anti-virus software current, set it to automatically check for updates
2.Anti-spy ware

More and more people are having there identity’s stolen each day or bank and credit card details taken from there computers.
Many people believe that their anti-virus will protect them from spy ware when in fact this is not true. There are many good anti-spyware programs out there these include.
Spybot Search and destroy, windows defender, Malwarebytes anti malware.

3.System maintance.

Many problems can be avoided if you have regular system maintance and clean ups done. A computer is much like a car in order for it to keep running you take it for regular check ups and cleans the same goes for computers. You would be surprised at the amount of problems that can be avoided if users where to have regular system check ups done. Its always best advised to check for local IT Technicians as apposed to going to a larger chain retailer as you are more likely to get not only better customer care but a more intricate job done.

4.Back ups.

Regular backups of your system files is a must, imagine you have been up all night working on a project and have finally finished it you save your files to your computer and go to bed, only to wake up and find there has been a power surge and your computer has crashed and along with it all your important data!!. I think for anyone that is a nightmare synario, if you had backed up your data on an external harddrive or disc you could simply reload and you would be set. Unfortunately the percentage of us that actually back up is very small compared to the amount of people using computers. Majority of flash drives or external hard drives come with automatic backup software installed shop around and find the best one for your needs.

5. Use a firewall to protect your computer from Internet intruders.
Computers connected to the Internet should use a personal firewall to filter out unauthorized or potentially dangerous traffic from the Internet, while allowing good traffic to reach your computer. Firewall hardware and software is available at computer stores and is built in to most operating systems/updates,

6.Operating system updates.

Keep your operating system up to date by making sure you computer has all the relevant updates downloaded and installed. Because technology advances every minute you system needs to be kept constantly up to date.
